A Note from Caroline & ClaudiaÂ
Life for the both of us lately has involved a lot of cooking for friends, lounging on the couch with our cats, reading library books, and getting back outside again. It feels so good to crack our windows open in the morning, brew a pot of coffee, and sit down to work for the day. Spring, for us, feels like the most productive of seasons. There’s a little more pep in our step and motivation in the air. Who can relate?
Travel Industry Buzz
Cruises have a lot of appeal. It’s transportation, accommodation, and food all in one. But, there’s just something about being on a massive boat with thousands of other people that just doesn’t sit well with us. Enter, Windstar Cruises.
Windstar Cruises provides all of the amenities of a cruise ship, but in a more intimate setting with only a couple hundred guests. They have your classic small cruise yachts, but what sets their fleet apart are their sailing ships. Their namesake boat, the Wind Star, is a sleek, 4-masted sailing yacht — meaning, the boats can actually sail like a real sail boat.
Their destinations include places like The Canary Islands, Athens, Reykjavik, Lima, Rome, and so many other dreamy spots. Each boat is outfitted with luxurious amenities and activities like cooking demonstrations, gracious staterooms, spa treatments, bars, and world class restaurants. Windstar Cruises has everything one could ever need for the ultimate ocean getaway.

A Few of Our Favorite ThingsÂ
Caroline: My current hyper-fixation is dry shampoo powder mist. Unlike aerosol alternatives, this travel-friendly fav leaves my hair feeling refreshingly clean without any residue or gunk. The Dae Fairy DusterPowder has become my go-to for instant hair refreshment, offering a lightweight solution that leaves my hair looking and feeling fabulous wherever I go!
Claudia: Some people scroll TikTok. Others scroll Hinge. I scroll eBay. Lately, I’ve found myself in the depths of the resale website in search of summer accessories like a woven leather handbag. My inspiration is the Santa Croce by Dragon Diffusion, but I just can’t justify, nor afford, the $466 price tag.
Instead, I’ve taken to scrolling eBay for vintage bags of a similar vein and struck gold. Here are my findings for your viewing pleasure.

Rooms With a View
There is something so charming about a nostalgic, retro motel. More and more, we’ve seen a resurgence in the restoration of these Americana roadside staples.
One prime example is the adorably quaint Amigo Motor Lodges — a 1950s motel in Salida, Colorado.Â
Upon booking, you have the option to choose between a charming motel room or a refurbished Airstream trailer. Amigo Motor Lodges is equipped with a hot tub and fire pits, making it the perfect stop after a day of adventuring around lively Salida, with its mountain peaks and natural hot springs. Rooms start at around $100 to $200, depending on when you visit.

Our Not-So-Hidden Gems
Back when then two of us were living in Boston, one of the things we adored most was the easy access to charming seaside towns — and the local haunts that go along with those towns.Â
One of the absolute highlights of our Boston experience was a perfect visit to The Raw Bar at Island Creek Oyster Farm, nestled on Duxbury Bay, about 45 minutes south of the city.Â
This picturesque gem is not just any old seafood shack — it's a haven for oyster enthusiasts, live music lovers, and anyone craving a refreshing glass of rosé with their pals.Â
The Raw Bar truly embodies quintessential East Coast vibes. So?Throw on your coziest striped sweater, gather some pals, and settle in for a charming night Nancy Meyers would approve of.Â
